Celebrate at NIUS · weddings by the sea

Weddings by the sea.

Saying ‘I do’ with your feet in the sand, dining at long tables and dancing until late. In summer outside with the sea behind you, in winter indoors, looking out over the sea.

The whole day in one place

Nobody has to get in a car. The ceremony, the toast, the dinner and the party are all at NIUS, just a few steps apart.

  • Ceremony on the Noordstrand, a separate stretch of beach, under the wooden pergola by the beach bar
  • Toast and drinks on the terrace
  • Dinner indoors or outside, at long tables
  • Party night in NIUS Zuid, up to 130 guests

How it works

We make the planning as easy as possible.

  • You send an enquiry using the Party Planner below
  • We invite you to come and meet us and see everything
  • Together we draw up the schedule for the day
  • No later than six weeks beforehand, we go through all the details one final time

And if it rains?

Then the ceremony moves indoors. Inside it’s heated, with a view of the sea. We draw up the bad-weather plan together in advance, so you don’t have to think about it on the day itself.

The sunset finder

On that day the sun sets into the sea at 21:57.

Useful for the ceremony, the photos and the moment of the toast.

Three round buildings side by side, with terraces in front and the beach terrace on the sand. The photo shows where everything is; in the Party Planner below you can see which space we would suggest for your numbers.

Can you get married at NIUS all year round?

Yes. In summer the ceremony is held outside on the Noordstrand; in autumn and winter it’s indoors, heated and with a view of the sea.

How many guests can come to a wedding at NIUS?

Up to 60 guests seated in NIUS Zuid. A party night in NIUS Zuid can take up to 130 guests, and outside up to 700.

Can the ceremony really take place on the beach?

Yes, under the wooden pergola by the beach bar on the Noordstrand, a separate stretch of beach, with the sea as the backdrop.
