One of those days when the beach is at its finest. Clear skies, a force 3 southerly and a sea temperature of 17 degrees: warmer than you’d expect in October.
The sun set into the sea at 18:54. The days are drawing in quickly now; in two weeks, when the clocks go back, it’ll be dark before dinner.
The colder half of the year has begun: Billies Sauna is back on the beach. Until 30 April you can come for a 90-minute session, with the North Sea as your cold plunge.
