Not in the photo: on the Noordstrand, a separate stretch of beach, by the beach bar. This is where wedding ceremonies take place. In spring and summer, drinks for up to 80 guests, with a stretch tent if you like; in the winter months, this is where the saunas stand.

Even when it’s windy, it’ll be a lovely evening.
If there’s rain or a storm, we celebrate indoors, with a view of the sea. We draw up the plan for that together in advance.

What everyone wants to know
Your questions, answered briefly.
How many people can I have at a party at NIUS?
A party night in NIUS Zuid can take up to 130 guests, and a party outside up to 700 guests. Seated, you can have 60 guests in NIUS Zuid, and a small group of up to 18 in the lounge & mezzanine. NIUS Noord can only be hired together with the whole pavilion.
Is it possible in autumn and winter too?
Yes. NIUS is open all year round, so Christmas drinks, a New Year party or a wedding in November are all possible. Inside it’s heated and you look out over the sea.
What if it rains or it’s very windy?
Then we celebrate indoors, with a view of the sea. The terraces are not covered; a stretch tent can be hired for them. We’ll talk through the bad-weather plan with you in advance, so there’s nothing left to decide on the day itself.
Can I come and see the venue first?
Of course. After your enquiry we’ll arrange for you to come and meet us at NIUS, so you can see the rooms, the terraces and the beach for yourself.
Can you organise the whole day, including activities?
Yes. For activities on the beach we work with JouwTeambuilders.nl and Pepsports.
